Dr Plumlee is an ordained priest in the Eastern Orthodox Church with a Master’s in Divinity from
St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Seminary in Crestwood, NY, where he graduated Summa cum laude.
He is affiliated with Holy Spirit Orthodox Church in Venice, Florida.
He completed his residency in Psychoanalytical and Psychotherapy at the Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute
in New York City.
He works with patients in cognitive restructuring, stress reduction,
alleviation of depression
and anxiety, and supportive work with couples and
families to help patients cope with tinnitus.
Dr Plumlee is a long-term tinnitus patient and has personal experience
using tools to deal with the effects.
He is a signer of American Sign Language and can provide therapy in
several languages including
French, Russian and German.
